Mission Statement
Why have a mission?
As the webmaster of Miranda-Cosgrove.net, I feel that it's important to state your purposes and aims even if you don't put them on your site, because at times you can lose sight of them. It's also nice for other people to be able to see them, especially when you're the new site on the block.
For example, who am I to make a site? There are some other great sites out there, ones people have worked very hard on. What can we contribute as a site? And why should we?
The answer to those kinds of questions is the mission statement.
The Statement
This site has three main aims.
The first aim is to bring the community of Miranda fans together: This is not the only site out there. While most others do not have domains, there is some excellent work on the internet and pretty much any Miranda site that applies will be linked and promoted wherever possible.
The second aim is to get more casual fans and general passers by to be enthusiastic about Miranda's future as an actress. Enthusiasm can be contagious and we intend to prove that to be true.
Our third and final aim is to let the fans know more about Miranda. We hope to pass on every little nugget of information we can find about her, and maybe one day get an interview with Miranda herself. To be able to send the fans' questions to Miranda herself would be a wonderful thing. It may be a wild aim, but there's nothing wrong with striving for the unlikely dream.
